Higher Diploma in Applied Management

The Higher Diploma in Management Practice is designed to enhance the management practices, behaviours and leadership capabilities of high potential middle managers (both people managers and technical managers). The purpose of the process is to provide middle managers with an opportunity to develop their skills and place them in positions of future leadership.

The programme consists of 8 taught modules and a final project. Each module consists of 18 hours in total as well as pre-module reading assignments, project assignments, and case study preparation.

The Programme is a Higher Diploma in Continuing Professional Development. It is recognised at Level 8 of the Irish NQF, and this may provide eligibility to attend a Masters Programme or Postgraduate programme subsequently.

The Higher Diploma is a 30 ECTS Diploma.
